At The Preservation Society, our yahrzeit outreach program is more than a tradition - it's a deeply personal act of remembrance and connection.  In addition to honoring the memory of those already in our records, we actively research yahrzeit dates and genealogical connections to identify individuals who may not yet be remembered through our formal observances.  We also seek out and connect with descendants of TBI’s founding families, many of whom have relocated far from our community.

Each year, we send personalized yahrzeit letters and reminders by mail or email, helping families honor their loved ones’ legacies.  Our goal is to ensure that every soul tied to our congregation's story is remembered with dignity and care.
