Planned Giving
Planned gifts are made as part of donors’ overall financial or estate planning in contrast to annual donations, or even multi-year Capital Campaign pledges. Planned gifts allow donors to leave a significant and ongoing legacy with an organization that is important to them, while potentially receiving tax benefits for themselves and their families.
Leave a Legacy A planned gift is a powerful way to have a lasting impact on the community and organization that means the most to you. Not only will a planned gift to the Preservation Society help ensure the future and growth of our organization, it may also lessen the burden of taxes on your family and your estate. Your generosity will sustain our community and will carry on your vision for Jewish culture, tradition, education and action far beyond your lifetime.
Ways to Give With the help of a financial advisor or family member, you can include language in your will or trust specifying that a gift be made to the Temple Beth Israel Preservation Society as part of your larger estate plan.
We recommend that you work with your own financial advisor to determine what kind of planned gift is right for you. We welcome you to direct your gift to support one of our family endowment funds, to support our building or to have us allocate your donation to the organization’s greatest needs.
Our sustainability depends on special gifts from longtime supporters who want to help strengthen the Preservation Society as we move into the future. By making a planned gift to the Preservation Society you help ensure that, in its second century, our treasured organization will continue to thrive.
